For Dichotic, its been fast paced and seriously furious the last few months!

Dichotic inked a record deal with Psycho Drive Studios and
officially completed the recording, mixing and mastering of the “Deepest Rise.” Distribution of the CD has already begun and is available for download @ Digstation.com Whew!

It certainly was an “all guns a blazin” and “down to the wire” effort to say the least. The local Dichotic fan base expressed a sincere horns high to the band for getting it done. Various songs have already been played on Wisconsin’s local rock radio station, Razor 94.7 and are receiving good reviews.

Killer! What’s next you ask? Booking, booking and more booking! Keep up with our myspace to stay informed but take note: Things kick off in a major way for Dichotic, who will be hosting the hard rock stage at SteelBridge Songfest 08 in Sturgeon Bay, WI. This is a three-day event (June 12/13/14) with over 150 music acts performing on 15 Stages.

Dichotic hit the road and simultaneously began tracking in the studio during December. Fans were able to witness Dichotic working in the studio on a web based live video feed during most of the sessions. Most of the tracking is complete for the CD so stay tuned. Special thanks to Butch’s in Sturgeon Bay, Hattrix in Kenosha, XO Underground in Morris, Illinois, K&D Standard Hall in Sheboygan, That’s What She Said in Depere, and Doubles Bar in Green Bay for outstanding hospitality! Fall is upon us and the last few months brought out the best in Dichotic. The fan base has expanded throughout the state with every gig having memorable moments that stick!
Honorable mention goes to Chrome Promotions, LLC for hosting the best metal shows in the state. Live local original talent is Destiny’s claim-to-fame and heaviness is her game! Bands like Hebron, Liquid Steel, Mr. Slate, Scofflaw, Silence All, Skull Theory, Treadkill Red, Trip Chord and Weaponry, are raising quite a stir in the area. Be fierce, mighty and bring the sweat!!
According to fans, cities need more venues to support local metal talent but that’s another story.

Right out of the gate, Dichotic would like to thank the heavy weights who invited them to play Steel Bridge SongFest 2007. What a great time and we'll be there again in 2008 if they'll have us. Dichotic Would also like to extend a set horns to Chrome Productions for inviting Dichotic to play one of the heaviest full on kick-ass metal shows to date. Talk about HEAVY!!
Seven Plauges! Skull Theory! Weaponry! Silence All! Dichotic! All in one metal riveting night! That's what we're talkin about, full bore all ages metal shows that keep us talkin for weeks on end!! We gotta do that again for sure!
